Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet: Madoff investor Villehuchet died (photo/video)

Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet, 65, has died. Villehuchet was the co-founder and CEO of Access International Advisors. Villehuchet was found dead inside his Madison Avenue office. Villehuchet had told his clients he ran a fund that invested with Bernard Madoff. Villehuchet died of an apparent suicide.

Bernard Madoff, 70, confessed he ran a Ponzi scheme. New investors in the Ponzi pyramid paid existing, earlier investors and the scheme was not making any real money for investors. Madoff is presently confined to his apartment on Upper East Side. Madoff paid a $10 million bail to be on house detention until his trial. Madoff wears an ankle monitor while on confinement.
