Theresa Fuavai-Fatu, the wife of pro-wrestler Sam Fatu, was pregnant when she complained of difficulty breathing. Fuavai-Fatu was 29 weeks into her pregnancy. Fuavai-Fatu was not due to deliver until late January. The babies were born sometime this week.

Doctors thought she was having a heart attack. When Fuavai-Fatu failed to give a pulse, doctors gave her an emergency Caesarian section. Fuavai-Fatu’s twins were delivered. The obstetrician was closing the incision when Fuavai-Fatu suddenly regained her pulse. Imagine the surprise of everyone at the operating table when Fuavai-Fatu suddenly opened her eyes. Fuavai-Fatu named her boy and girl twins Marley and Myracle.

Sam Fatu and his wife have 3 other older sons.

Sam Fatu acted as “Tonga Tom” in “Body Slam” (1987). Sam Fatu’s co-stars were Dirk Benedict and Roddy Piper.
