The julia set crop circle lookalike has appeared in a barley field. In this picture, the crop circle pattern is 150 feet wide. The crop circle has been analyzed by an expert. The crop circle is supposedly a picture representation of the first 10 digits of Pi. Pi has been associated to crop circles in the past.

Some people think aliens or ET (extra-terrestrials) who had mathematics in mind made this symbol (Crop circle) when they came to earth.

Dis-believers argue that the crop circle is made by humans. A crop circle looks like it is done with a love for figure and puzzle. This picture shows a complex crop circle.

This crop circle appeared in June 2008 near Barbury Castle. This crop circle was at an Iron Age hill fort above Wroughton village in Wiltshire.

Mike Reed, a retired astrophysicist, has analyzed this crop circle. Mike Reed said that this crop circle had a mathematical link. Mike Reed said this crop circle shows a coded image with the first 10 digits of Pi. This crop circle is about the ratio of the circumference of a crop circle to the diameter.

The small dot near the center of the crop circle is the decimal point. The code is seen from 10 angular segments. The things that look like radical jumps are the indicator of each new segment.

Mike Reed has worked out a fractal pattern, or geometrical pattern. This pattern explains the crop circle.

Fractals/ geometric patterns are a staple of the crop circles found. The most famous fractal type of crop circle is the Mandelbrot Set or the Julia Set. The Julia Set was first seen in Avebury Trusloe, Wiltshire.

Lucy Pringle, a research expert in crop circle formations, has the world’s largest data base on crop circle patterns.

In the past, humans came forward to confess that they were responsible for creating certain crop circles. Some other people are incredulous. They prefer to think that crop circles are associated with paranormal or aliens or UFOs. So far, no humans ave claimed responsibility for making the crop circle at Barbury Castle.
