Thailand’s Scorpion Queen Kanchana Kaetkaew: Kaetkaew’s new scorpion record (photos)
By Therese Lisieux on December 23rd, 2008On Dec. 22, Thailand’s Scorpion Queen Kanchana Kaetkaew held a live scorpion in her mouth for 2 minutes 1.8 seconds before splitting out the arachnid. Kanchana Kaetkaew, 39, set a record in a shopping mall in Pattaya. Kanchana Kaetkaew is married to the Centipede King Boonthawee Siangwong.
Boonthawee Siangwong and Kanchana Kaetkaew were married on February 14, Valentine’s Day, in 2006. Kanchana Kaetkaew wore a white wedding dress covered in scorpions. Her new husband, Boonthawee Siangwong, placed a centipede in her mouth during their wedding.
Kanchana Kaetkaew wants to set a new world record staying with scorpions. Kanchana Kaetkaew will stay inside a glass compound for 33 days and nights along with 50000 scorpions. Kanchana Kaetkaew’s previous world record in 2002 was 32 days living inside a compound with scorpions.
