Thailand’s National Police Chief Gen. Pacharawat Wongsuwan has been demoted. Pacharawat Wongsuwan was removed from his post and moved to an inactive post in the Prime minister’s office because he failed to stop the siege to Thailand’s airports. Anti Thai government protestors took over Suvarnabhumi international airport on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The smaller Don Muang domestic airport was also besieged by protestors on Wed., Nov. 26.
