Terry Hobbs sues Natalie Maines: Hobbs vs Maines lawsuit
By Therese Lisieux on December 5th, 2008Terry Hobbs, whose stepson Steve Branch was killed in 1993, is suing Natalie Maines. Natalie Maines is one of the Dixie Chicks. Maines had talked about her opinion that Terry Hobbs was involved in the murders of Steve Branch and 2 other boys in 1993. Terry Hobbs was not implicated nor charged in the 1993 murders. Three men were convicted for the murders of the 3 boys.
Natalie Maines gave her views that she thought Terry Hobbs was responsible for the murder. Terry Hobbs has filed a lawsuit in Arkansas. Hobbs alleged that he lost his income and reputation from Maines’ claims.
Natalie Maines has not commented on Terry Hobbs’ lawsuit.

I think that everyone does in fact know Mark Byers did It well I know I do but let me ask you people this have you ever been through what my family is goin through?!?!?!?!?!?! NOOPA12345 WALK A HALF OF A MILE IN OUR SHOES AND SEE IF U CAN TAKE IT!! I BET YOU CANT DICKHEAD Another thing my father wasnt the only one who lost their income over this shit I lost a very good job because of it…. GONNA CALL ME A BITCH NOW!?!?!?! NOONE can imagine how my family feels unless uve been though it as well and if u havent KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT because u will never know how it feels unless it happens to u and god forbid it ever happen to any1 because some people just cant handle it… (Melissa Byers for example) What I want to know is WHY ME AND MY FAMILY???!!! There has been millions of children killed over the years and they have been left to rest in peace.. Why cant my brother rest in peace?? Why cant it just be left alone!!! ITS BAD ENOUGH IT ALREADY HAPPENED BUT TO HAVE TO RELIVE IT EVERYDAY 16 YEARS LATER Its killin my mother and I know nobody cares they just want to see 3 boys free… I believe Damien and them were there and did help but didnt do it by their selves I also believe when damien knows he stands absolutely no chance of ever gettin out (which he doesnt) Hes gonna tell what really happened and who was really there and I do believe mark byers will come out of his mouth!

The only thing relevant here is that Natalie Maines accused him of killing his own stepson and two others, despite being exonerated during the investigation. Her publicity of her accusations to millions through her interviews and her website was damaging to his reputation more so than even the WM3 organization, who never went that far. She will pay one way or the other, as the attorney fees will be huge. I only hope he doesn’t accept their first out of court settlement offer, and refuses non-disclosure. We’ll all find out just how poor Natalie Maines made herself trying to bash the world in her three year long propaganda campaign. She’s not history yet, but soon will be.

Hobbs you lost your income because you are a child killer, you know that you murdered those 3 little boys, and so does everyone else. The 3 that are in prison did not do it, and for the uneducated dumb fools that think they did, get real!

Amanda no one is EVER going to leave it alone until the three men that are in prison for something they didn’t do are out! And because of that fact it is all of our business. If you think Mark did it then why is it so wrong for us to say we think Terry did it, sorry but no difference.

Well I must give a say here….You see Terry was and is one of my best friends, Though I haven’t seen him since the murder of his step son, I feel I know him as well as any one could know someone….I met him when I was 11 years old(I am now 51)and spent more time with him growing up then anyone probably has….We went to church Tuesdays,Thursday’s Saturdays and then Sunday mornings and Sunday evning….Yes I agree alot of church, but has alway’s been my best memeries of young….I can say with everything in my body,soul and spirit that Terry in no way could hurt a child and I would stake my reputation on it….Terry is the type of person that is kind,giving and just a all around great person…I had to write because so many people are judging Terry and don’t even have a clue…I beleive the law should take its course and then in the end when all evidence is presented and the jury has its say,…Then a person has the right to make a statment about that person….But until all this is over PLEASE DON’T SAY TERRY IS A MURDER.
(It’s just plain wrong)
