Tex Allen, a jazz pianist, has sued Terrence Howard for giving him a fat lip. Tex Allen claimed Terence Howard punched him many times in the face while they were rehearsing for “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” in 2007’s Broadway Musical production.

Tex Allen said he received a swollen lip and was unable to play his piano. (Maybe Allen meant he could not play his jazz piano in public to perform for earning his keep.) Tex Allen is suing Terrence Howard for $5 million.
