The former church of Ted Haggard, a former evangelical leader, has brought up his gay sex scandal again. Haggard and a young male church volunteer were in a sexual relationship. Ted Haggard has tried to repair his public image but this new revelation did nothing for him.

Brady Boyd, Haggard’s successor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, spoke to AP to reveal that a male church member disclosed something in 2006. This was after a male prostitute in Denver claimed to have engaged in sex with Haggard.

Brady Boyd claimed that the young man told church officials in late 2006 that he was involved in a long term relationship with Ted Haggard.

Brady Boyd said the New Life church settled with the young man by paying for his counseling and college tuition. Boyd said that on Thur., Jan 22, a TV station contacted him to disclose that the said young man was going public on his relationship with Haggard.
