Why did Teanne Harris donate her wedding reception? Teanne Harris, of Chicago, was jilted at the altar on Saturday, October 31. Harris wanted to cancel her wedding reception but her request was refused because it was too late.

Harris and her mother Bari decided to donate the reception to an old folks home. Harris gave the seniors a treat and attended the reception. The reception’s theme was Halloween and the guests dressed up for the occasion. The food, drinks and decor were all prepared for the Halloween theme.

Teanne Harris also had to go solo for her honeymoon to Hawaii, which was already booked in advance.

Harris’ former fiancé, Matt Harker, has refused to talk to the press.
