Taylor Hanson and his wife, Natalie Hanson, became parents to their new baby, born Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008. Hanson’s son, Viggo Moriah Hanson, joined his older siblings, Ezra Hanson, 6, River Hanson, 2, and Penelope Hanson, 3.

Taylor Hanson is the middle brother of the family band called Hanson. Taylor is 25 and Natalie is 24. The Hansons live in Oklahoma.

Natalie said Viggo was selected because it was a Scandinavian word for war and they loved the sound of that name. Natalie Hanson related how Taylor was inspired by the Book of Genesis story of Abraham’s sacrifice of Isaac, which took place on Mount Moriah. So, they took the second name of their son to be Moriah.
