Updated May 29 – Christopher Coleman had a relationship with Tara Lintz while married to Sheri Coleman. Mr Coleman allegedly told Lintz that he would marry her in 2010. Coleman’s correspondence discussed his alleged affair with Lintz.

Tara Lintz told investigators she exchanged personal messages via cell phone, social networking websites and emails. Lintz and Sheri Coleman both attended the same high school in Largo, Florida.

Christopher Coleman was arrested for the murders of Sheri Coleman, Garett Coleman, Gavin Coleman.

Mr Coleman was arrested at his parents’ home. Mr Coleman was charged on Tuesday for the strangulation deaths of Sheri Coleman, Garett Coleman, Gavin Coleman. Police said a ligature was used but refused to elaborate. Mr Coleman’s lawyer said his client planned to plead not guilty to the murder charges.

Sheri Coleman, 31, and her sons, Garett Coleman, 11, and Gavin Coleman, 9, were found dead by police. The Colemans were found killed in their home on May 5, around 5 am. The Coleman family lived in Columbia, Illinois.

Police have refused to name their person of interest or suspect. Police said their investigation has revealed the culprit and they have turned over the evidence to the Monroe County State Attorney. Police have questioned Christopher Coleman, Sheri’s husband, but have refused to say anything else about him.

After the triple burials of Sheri, Garett and Gavin Coleman, Christopher Coleman and his parents traveled south to Cape Girardeau, where Coleman’s mother had a doctor appointment. They were followed by one police car. Outside the Coleman parents’ home, a police car was stationed there.
