Tara Feroce dead: Alice Treser, Stephanie Italiano & Darren Collins survived

Tara Feroce, 18, died when her car crashed in a 2 car accident on Saturday afternoon, August 23. This happened in Upper Drennen Road, in Upper Burrell, Pittsburgh.

Tara Feroce drove across the center of the 2 lane road, when she was at the crest of a hill and visibility was bad. Tara Feroce was from New Kensington. Alice Treser, 55, of New Kensington, was driving and approaching from the opposite direction. The cars crashed and Tara Feroce’s Dodge Neon vehicle went another 530 feet until it hit a tree. Tara Feroce had 2 passengers; Stephanie Italiano, 18, and Darren Collins. Stephanie Italiano and Darren Collins were airlifted to Allegheny General Hospital. They had moderate injuries.

    I graduated with the passengers in Feroce’s car and I wanted to let you know that her injuries are not modeate. She is in the ICU at Allegheny General Hospital. Her ribs were bruised badly if not broken and her splein was ruptured as well as her kidney’s are bleeding.

    I am the father of the female passenger of the car. Just wanted to let everyone know she is doing well and out of ICU. Her injuries were severe but she is healing quite well.
