Tammi LaFave & Haroon Khan: LaFave sentened for murdering Khan
By Therese Lisieux on June 13th, 2009Tammi LaFave, 21, of Delafield, and her boyfriend, Travis Zoellick, of Watertown, were alleged responsible for the murder of Haroon Khan, 31. LaFave and Zoellick met Khan to see his car for sale. Khan wanted to sell his 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
On Oct 1, 2008, LaFave and Zoellick met Khan to view and test drive his car in Milwaukee. Zoellick drove Khan to a wooded area and stabbed him fatally.
Before police arrived at Zoellick’s home to arrest him, he committed suicide by a gunshot.
LaFave pleaded guilty to the charge of felony murder. LaFave was sentenced to 20 years in prison. LaFave has to serve 5 years in extended supervision.
