Watch this before it gets pulled from YouTube. Tamara Urushadze, 32, a TV reporter from Georgia, was shot in her left arm in Gori, as she was reporting live coverage about humanitarian aid. The bullet grazed her arm and she instinctively dropped down flat to the ground as the camera lost sight of her below its field.

Seconds later, Tamara Urushadze faced the camera again to announce that she had been shot. Tamara Urushadze took it seriously in her line of duty as a journalist to complete her coverage of the situation.

Dmitry Medvedev, President of Russia, promised protection to Georgia’s two breakaway regions of of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. It was also a sign that Russia might absorb South Ossetia and Abkhazia into a part of Russia and fight Georgia. Russia made it clear that Georgia can not reclaim South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
