There was a fight over Susan Alamo’s body after her death. Susan Alamo died of cancer in 1982. Tony Alamo said Susan would be resurrected and he kept Susan Alamo’s body on display for six months.

Susan Alamo and Tony Alamo:

Tony Alamo refused to bury his wife. Mrs. Alamo’s daughter, Christihaon Coie, of LA, went to court to get legal aid to get her mother, Susan Alamo, buried in Van Buren. Coie won her case and Susan Alamo was finally laid to rest in 1998, after 16 years.
