Sun Mingming is a basketball player. Sun Ming Ming was born in China. Sun’s height is 7 feet 9 inches (2.36 m) and he weighs approximately 320 pounds (145 kg). Sun traveled to the US in 2005 to try out for LA Lakers. Sun failed to get drafted but he played with minor league teams like Dodge City Legend. Sun Mingming had successful surgery on Sep 26, 2005, to remove a benign brain tumor that made his pituitary gland overproduce growth hormone. Sun’s surgery corrected acromegaly. Sun wears sneakers that are size 20.

Gheorghe Mure?an, a former NBA player, is also one of the tallest basketball players with heights averaging above 7 feet tall.
