By Clarencia Cynrae on April 28th, 2009Ernie Barnes, a professional football player in the 1960s, has died. Barnes was 70 when he died. Barnes was famous for having a second career as an artist after his retirement from football. Barnes’ most famous painting was named “Sugar Shack”.
This “Shack” was used as part of the set props for the TV sitcom “Good Times”. “Sugar Shack” is now owned by Eddie Murphy.
