Sufiah Yusof/ Shilpa Lee - UK officials refuse to help Malaysia

The British told the Deputy Minister’s staff to contact the association for Malay-Muslim residents in UK. The President of the Malay Society in UK is Mr. Hamidi Abdul Rahman. Mrs Halimahton Yusof, Sufiah Yusof’s mother, gave permission to Mr Hamidi to help them.
Mr. Hamidi spoke to the Malaysia local paper. He said that his staff have tried to contact Sufiah. He said that he believed that Sufiah was not bad but under pressure and needed immediate help.

The government should help deserving poor children in malaysia by offering scholarship and support rather than wasting taxpayer money helping an outsider who is not a malaysian in the first place. She is a british citizen, and a pakistani father makes her a pakistani. So why is the malaysian government wasting all our hard earned money, is it because she is a muslim?
