Halimahton Yusof said she searched for her daughter, Sufiah Yusof, ever since she lost contact with her. She has heard about the newspaper reports about Sufiah becoming Shilpa Lee.

Halimahton has gone through many questions in her head. She is laden with guilt. Could she have done something to prevent all that?

Halimahton expressed desires of a family reunion. She said that in the past, Sufiah asked to be let free. Her calls to her old cell phone were unanswered.

Whatever happened, Sufiah did on her own accord since she was separated from her family at the age of 15, when she first ran away.

Halimahton said she disbelieved that her husband Farooq was capable of molesting his 2 students but after his conviction, she decided to seek divorce.
