Palazio Men’s Club in Texas is being sued by FremantleMedia, the company that created American Idol. Palazio organized a $500 stripper contest named “Stripper Idol.” Fremantle alleged that Palazio used the name “Idol” and trademarked logo for themselves.

Fremantle claimed that Palazio had hurt the “American Idol” show’s reputation. Fremantle wants the profits made from “Stripper Idol”, compensation for damages and legal fees.
