Story on why Zach Luckett was suspended

Zach Luckett was arrested for DUI and has been indefinitely suspended from the Virginia Tech team.
On Sunday, August 17, 2008, around 1 am, Zach Luckett drove his Mercury Mountaineer vehicle in reverse into a green dumpster in a store’s parking lot. Luckett drove away without checking for damage. He was stopped by police. Luckett was asked to do some field sobriety tests. He was brought to a police station where he blew .16 on the breath analyzer. Luckett was arrested on a DUI charge. According to the law, Luckett’s second DUI charge under 5 years would mean he faces a compulsory $500 fine and a jail sentence of 1 month, if he is found guilty and convicted of DUI. The sentence would range between 20 days – 1 year.
Luckett had previous brushes with the law. In 2006, he was fined for urinating in public. In 2007, he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. This charge was later dismissed.
