Steven Page, the Canadian singer, has cut a deal to avoid jail time. Page, the Barenaked Ladies frontman will avoid jail time if he gets help for his drug use and stay clean for 6 months. If Page can do those two conditions, his charges will be dropped. Then he may enter the US without problems.

Steven Page read his statement to express thanks for getting this chance. He said he would grow and heal in the next 6 months. Page apologized for his behaviour. Steven Page was seated in a car with his girlfriend’s room mate, Stephanie Ford, 25. Page’s girlfriend, Christine Benedicto, 27, was later charged with the possession of marijuana.
