It is the anniversary of Steven Kazmierczak’s death. It is also the death anniversary of five victims of Kazmierczak’s shooting spree. Steven Kazmierczak killed 5 people at Northern Illinois University on Feb 14 2008. Steven Kazmierczak wounded 18 students before committing suicide.

Kazmierczak was booted from the Army after the discovery he hid his psychiatric history. Kazmierczak was known for his admiration for famous murderers. Kazmierczak was nicknamed “Strange Steve” by his roommates. Kazmierczak familiarized himself with famous massacres like the Virginia Tech and Columbine massacres. Kazmierczak watched horror movies like “Saw”.

Jessica Baty was Kazmierczak’s former girlfriend. Kazmierczak instructed her not to disclose information on himself to anyone. Baty only spoke publicly to the camera for once and thereafter, refused to grant further interviews.

No one said they could foresee trouble from Steven Kazmierczak,in spite of knowing about him.
