Steven Curtis Chapman lost his adopted daughter, Maria Sue Chapman, when his son, reversed his SUV into her. Maria Sue Chapman was 5 years old. The Chapmans have another 2 adopted daughters from China – Shaohannah Chapman and Stevey Joy Chapman.

“Good Morning America” on Wednesday, August 6 at 7am had Steven Curtis Chapman as a guest who spoke on his faith, grief and healing after Maria Sue died.
