Lillo Brancato Jr, an actor in “Sopranos” has to stand trial for second degree murder charges in Nov. Steven Armento, 51, has been accused together with Lillo Brancato Jr of killing an off-duty police man during their burglary.

Steven Armento has been convicted of the murder charge. Armento awaits sentencing on Nov. 14. Armento faces life in prison. The off duty police officer was Daniel Enchautegui. Daniel Enchautegui was killed on Dec. 10, 2005. Armento and Brancato had a drinking session at a strip club before they broke into a basement apartment to steal drugs. Daniel Enchautegui lived next door to the apartment being broken into. Enchautegui confronted them after he heard noises in his neighbor’s home. Armento was accused of firing at Enchautegui, 28, and shot him in his heart. Daniel Enchautegui was dying when he fired at Brancato and Armento and wounded them.
