Prop 8 wants to ban same sex marriages. So does the Mormon Church. Steve Young, a devout Mormon and descendant of the second president of the Mormon Church, is going against the Church. Steve Young is against Prop 8. Steve Young is remembered as a famous ex NFL player.

Steve Young and his wife, Barbara Young, are against Prop 8 because they do not discriminate against marriages. Steve Young and Barbara Young remain as Mormons but they oppose the Prop 8. The Youngs have signs on their lawn that said, “No to Prop 8.” Barbara Young made a statement that her husband, Steve Young, would not get involved publicy and would not make any public endorsement.
