Steve Jobs allegedly had a liver transplant in March/April, or roughly 2 months ago from this day. Jobs was rumored to have undergone a liver transplant in Tennessee. Before Jobs left his office on medical leave, he was known to have applied to be away until June. Jobs is expected to resume his job as the CEO of Apple Inc at the end of June 2009.
Jobs has not officially conformed the reports that he had a liver transplant. Jobs suffered pancreatic cancer in 2004.

In Bloomberg News published on Friday Jan 16, Steve Jobs was said to be considering a liver transplant. Jobs may need a liver transplant because of complications of his pancreatic cancer treatment in 2004.
Apple Inc spokesman, Steve Dowling, has refused to comment on Jobs’ health. The board members of Apple Inc have also refused to comment.

Steve Jobs, Apple Inc Chief Executive, is on medical leave until end of June. Last week, Steve Jobs had re-assured everyone that his recent weight loss was caused by an imbalance in hormones. This week, Steve Jobs announced he is on medical leave.
Steve Jobs sent an email to tell staff his health issue was more serious than he thought. He was going on medical leave until the end of June 2009.

Steve Jobs hoax: Steve Jobs heart attack
On Monday, Oct. 6, CNN’s iReport had an article that said Steve Jobs, Apple Computers CEO, had a heart attack. Apple’s share opened at USD 104.53, dropped to 95.41, before recovering at 103.36. This was the lowest Apple had descended since 2007’s mid year. The spokespeople of Apple were contacted and they have verified that the story is a fake.
CNN pulled the post which was user generated and not written by its staff. Now, they have to do computer forensics to trace the poster of the fictitious article.

Apple News/ Steve Jobs’ health/ new iPod
Apple Inc. has launched its newest, upgraded iPod nano, which is the thinnest iPod Apple has made.
The special feature allows users to shuffle songs by shaking it. Steve Jobs joked about his health by saying, “… reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” This was a reference to a pre-written obituary by Bloomberg that was posted online. Apple said Steve Jobs’ health was not of concern as he is well. Steve Jobs had survived pancreatic cancer before the rumors started about his health .
