Steve Ballesteros: Ballesteros has brain tumor

Steve Ballesteros, the golf champion, has revealed that he has a brain tumor. Ballesteros, 51, revealed this news from La Paz hospital, in Madrid, Spain. One week ago, Ballesteros was taken ill and collapsed. Steve Ballesteros, the winner of 5 major titles, was very ill. Doctors advised Ballesteros to call his family members to his bedside. Steve Ballesteros had a partial brain seizure and fainted at that particular instance.
Steve Ballesteros was able to talk and communicate and he wrote on his website that he felt well. Ballesteros, divorced and with three kids, had won 87 titles in his professional golf career. In 2007, Ballesteros retired because of some knee and back problems.

Ballesteros had a reaction after his surgery. The doctors have removed a part of his skull because he had a swelling. His doctors removed a small portion of his skull to relieve the swelling. Ballesteros is in intensive care. His condition is stable.
