Updated May 7 – Police said Stephen Morgan may have targeted the Jewish community and Wesleyan University students. The authorities advised Wesleyan students to stay inside their locked doors and be vigilant.

The suspect has been named as Stephen Morgan, 29. Morgan is thin, bearded and used a wig. Morgan has no connection to Wesleyan University. Surveillance camera caught his images on tape. Police recovered a gun and a wig.

Updated May 6 – Johanna Justin-Jinich of Timith, Colorado was shot multiple times near Wesleyan University. Police may have a suspected in connection to the shooting death of Justin-Jinich. Justin-Jinich worked in the cafe.
Unconfirmed newspaper reports suggested Justin-Jinich’s ex boyfriend was the suspect. Johanna Justin-Jinich had one more year to go before graduation in 2010.
The Mayor of Middletown, Connecticut, said he believed the shooting was focused and not random. The residents had no reason to fear the gunman shooting again. The students and staff in Wesleyan University were warned to be vigilant. WU asked their students and staff to stay indoors.

The Wesleyan shooting happened to a student. A college student at Wesleyan University was fatally shot at a bookstore near the Wesleyan Connecticut campus. The Wesleyan shooting happened suddenly at a bookstore’s café near the campus.
The Wesleyan shooting caused a lockdown as students and staff were asked to remain indoors while police search for the suspect. There are unconfirmed reports that police may have found a gun.
The Wesleyan University shooting occurred at around 1 p.m. The Wesleyan shooting was inside the “Red and Black Cafe”. The cafe was part of the bookstore called “Broad Street Books”.
Wednesday, May 6, was the scheduled day for Wesleyan’s annual Spring Fling concert. The Spring Fling is a tradition that started in 1975. All campus events were canceled after the shooting death of the student.

please pronounce her name as Yohanna, not Joehanna. She hated that. It is pronounced with spanish tones. A very beautiful name for a very beautiful girl. Johanna Emily Justin Jinich
