Stephanie Kuleba, 18, died on Saturday, Mar. 22, after allergic reactions to anesthesia. She was 1 hour into surgery when she developed malignant hyperthermia. Her body heated up and 24 hours later, she died.

There are risks for every surgery. The patient would have undersigned to take the responsibility and understand the risks involved.
