Stanley Kobierowski, 34, of North Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested on early Tuesday morning, July 22 2008. Stanley Kobierowski drove into a highway message board on Interstate 95 in Providence. Police recorded Stanley Kobierowski as having .491 blood alcohol level. Stanley Kobierowski broke the record for Rhode Island.

Stanley Kobierowski was sent to a hospital. His condition warranted treatment in the detoxification unit. Stanley Kobierowski was sedated. Police arraigned Stanley Kobierowski on the same day, Tuesday, on charges of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

Stanley Kobierowski was released as he promised to appear in court on Friday.
