The St. Thomas Syrian Orthodox Knanaya Church in Clifton, in northern New Jersey, had a gunman inside on Sunday, Nov. 23. The lone gunman opened fire and wounded three people. One victim is in a serious condition. There were around 200 parishioners inside the church when the gunfire exploded. Many members were first generation immigrants from Kerala, India. Police said the shooting might have been the result of a domestic dispute. Police are investigating and searching for the gunman.
