Speed Racer was originally based on a Japanese anime called Mach GoGoGo. Speed Racer was written by The Wachowski brothers. They were also Speed Racer’s co-producers. Speed Racer took a long time to reach completion. Speed Racer had been developing since 1992. Speed Racer was filmed in Germany. Speed Racer was shot between June – November 2007. Speed Racer’s budget was $100 Million. Speed Racer’s automobile racing track was done in anime (cartoon style). Speed Racer’s close-ups involved the actors in their cars.
Speed Racer started with Rex Speed, the eldest of 3 Speed sons. Rex Racer was a successful race car driver who wanted to fight against corporations that controlled racing. One day, Rex Racer died in a car race. Rex Racer’s 2 younger brothers were left to continue the legacy of race car driving and building. The chronology moved forward to a teen age or grown up Speed Racer. Speed Racer became a race car driver too…
To be continued soon.
