Sonya Small, of Palatka, Fla., tried to use a $100 bill to pay for her purchases in Wal-Mart but was refused. The cashier told Sonya Small that the $100 note was fake. Ms. Small showed the supervisor of Walmart her bank withdrawal slip from Bank of America. Ms. Small had made a withdrawal of $800.

Ms. Small had to surrender the fake $100 to police who needed it as evidence. Ms. Small returned to the bank to get replacement bills for her $700 and a replacement for the $100 that was removed by the police.
