SNL VP Debate: Queen Latifah/Tina Fey / Jason Sudeikis

This Saturday, October 4, we had SNL VP Debate, also known as the SNL Palin debate, or SNL Queen Latifah/Tina Fey/ Jason Sudeikis debate.

Tina Fey reprised her role as Sarah Palin on SNL VP debate. Queen Latifah was Gwen Ifill,the moderator,on SNL VP debate. Jason Sudeikis was Joe Biden for SNL debate.

Fey/Palin used the usual repertoire of Joe Six-Packs, maverick, Washington outsider, Palin drinking game, and some slang. Tina Fey/ Palin made a big deal of thanking third graders for help writing her speech. The joke was on her level of language and intellect.

Jason Sudeikis (as Joe Biden) cracked a few jokes on not being condescending. Fey mentioned the Biden/ Sudeikis hair style, which was a bit painful, considering Biden is balding.

Queen Latifah, as Gwen Ifill, harped on the book that was getting pre-order sales. Gwen Ifill never mentioned in the real debate that she wrote a book that showed her support of Obama. Queen Latifah improvised and wrote the jokes that everyone knew about Gwen Ifill. That was comedy, bring out the best, unsung praises of reality.

    all in all, it’s not surprising that the GOP won’t schedule any more unscripted air time for Palin, this would give people more time to realize that she’s totally clueless… the prospect of her becoming the Commander in Chief is frightening
