Ray Park acted as the adult Snake Eyes in “GI Joe: The Rise Of The Cobra”. Snake Eyes is the ninja warrior who is dressed from head to toe in black. Snake Eyes does not talk in the movie GI Joe. Only towards the end of the movie do we discover why Snake Eyes does not speak.

Snake Eyes was raised and trained by a martial arts master. The elderly and wise master gave the homeless boy the name Snake Eyes. The boy was caught stealing food in the kitchen of the monastry and the master took him in.Snake Eyes’ nemesis was Storm Shadow.

It was implied that Storm Shadow killed the master. Snake Eyes took a vow of silence after his beloved master died. In a reversal of the usual symbols of good and evil, Snake Eyes was good and wore black. Storm Shadow was evil and wore white.

After Snake Eyes “killed” Storm Shadow in “GI Joe: The Rise Of The Cobra”, he still did not speak. Storm Shadow fell into a sea of water but as all good comics and sequels go, he may not have been killed. The next new movie might see the resurrection of Storm Shadow.
