There was a Simi Valley shooting when a gunman inside a dental clinic opened fire. Simi Valley is about 35 miles northwest of LA.

The Simi Valley shooting may have happened as a consequence of a domestic dispute. One woman was killed and three people were wounded by gunfire. These three were in critical condition while a fourth person was grazed by a bullet.

The gunman in the Family Dental Care office in Simi Valley was shirtless. The suspect wore a pair of shorts and had a shaved head. The suspect was persuaded to surrender by a hostage negotiator. The gunman was allegedly married to the dead woman.

One of the male victims who was shot said his sister was also shot several times. Police do not know of the motive behind the shootings.
