Simeon Nix, 47, was the pastor of music and workship at Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon. Simeon Nix died on Sunday morning. Simeon Nix had a heart attack on Saturday, August 16, 2008. Simeon Nix had worked for Bell Shoals Baptist Church for 12 years.

Simeon Nix had his first heart attack on August 12. After hospital treatment he went home o recover. Simeon Nix was a diabetic and needed some care in this aspect. The news of his passing was posted at www.bellshoals.com. There was a request for prayers and the notice asked for privacy for the grieving family.

Simeon Nix left behind Beth Nix and two children, Bre’Ana Alysse Nix and Sterling Andrew Nix.
