Shonda Rhimes has denied Katherine Heigl’s allegation that her character in Grey’s Anatomy would be killed off. Katherine Heigl had made comments about her Izzie not being worth of Emmy Award material, which was why she did not forward her name for the Emmy nominations.

Now, Katherine Heigl’s claim has made Shonda Rhimes say that she was puzzled. Shonda Rhimes revealed that Katherine Heigl has requested to be given a light script during the second of the season of Grey’s Anatomy. This has prompted rumors to speculate that Katherine Heigl needed a relaxed pace because she might be knocked up.
