Shawn Pyfrom, 22, an actor who portrays Andrew Van De Kamp in the TV series Desperate Housewives, is leaving the show. Shawn Pyfrom is the TV son of Marcia Cross’s fictional character. Pyfrom will leave his regular slot in Desperate Housewives and won’t be seen next season save for a few special appearances.

Pyfrom allegedly left his full time show to work on new projects in the TV and movie industry. The new season of Desperate Housewives begins on September 27.
