Shaun Phillips, San Diego Chargers linebacker, was allegedly involved in a fight. Phillips was accused of punching a security guard in the face. Phillips allegedly had the altercation at a San Diego bar early Saturday morning, April 25.

Shaun Phillips denied the claims of assault. Phillips said surveillance tapes will back up his story.

This was the second incident involving Phillips and bar security. Earlier in April 2009, another security guard at a bar claimed Phillips choked him and strangled him. Shaun Phillips was not cited or arrested for that incident.
