Sharat Sardana, 40, has died. Sardana was the creator of “The Kumars At No.42” and “Goodness Gracious Me.” Sharat Sardana died in his father’s home. Sardana had been taking care of his father, Om, since his mother died about 1 year ago.

Sharat Sardana had a streptococcal virus and he passed away on Tuesday. Sardana wa sill fro 4 days before he died. His friends and family were with Sardana in hospital, on his death bed. Sardana’s funeral has been arranged for Wed., Feb. 4.
