Elisha Cuthbert once dated Sean Avery. Cuthbert and Avery broke up and Cuthbert started dating Dion Planeuf. On Tue., Dec. 2, Sean Avery was taken to task for some inappropriate remarks he made publicly on Elisha Cuthbert and Dion Planeuf. This caused the Dallas Stars forward to get suspended indefinitely by the NHL.

The NHL said the suspension was done under the bylaws regulating detrimental behaviors to the NHL or hockey. Dallas Stars’ owner, Tom Hicks, said he supported NHL’s decision.
