Scott Weiland’s new album, Happy in Galoshes, will drop into stores on Nov. 25. Scott Weiland gave an interview to LA Weekly to talk about Velvet Revolver and his present projects. The video is below. Scott Weiland talked about his brother who died in 2007, his mother’s duel with cancer, his separation from his wife, Mary Forsberg and his two kids. Scott Weiland’s interview was emotional and heartfelt. The part where he said he would rather work in the studio than be on the road because he wanted to be around his kids when they were growing.

Happy in Galoshes is about being creative as a part of therapy dealing with life’s ups and downs. Weiland said he did not go into the studio to write hits but rather write his experiences. The background music is a sneak peak into Weiland’s music which will be released in his album.
