Scott McGann was arrested at LaGuardia Airport. McGann was arrested on Saturday, at 5 am after two telephone calls. The caller warned of a drunk or suspicious passenger. McGann was found by police and detained. McGann, 32, had an airplane ticket to fly from NY to Chicago.

Scott McGann refused to cooperate with police by answering questions. When officers searched his luggage, they found batteries and wires. Police closed LaGuardia Airport.

Scott McGann was charged for putting a fake bomb in a public transport facility and making terrorist threats.
