That means MacIntyre sees the world through a straw. MacIntyre won a scholarship at 19. MacIntyre has performed all over US and Canada. MacIntyre plays the guitar and drums too.

Scott is the winner of AI 09 by a country mile, no contest.
Although he has a sound of the great Billy Joel about him, his voice has a lovely quality all of it’s own, it is gorgeous to listen to. Unlike most of the dross passed along to us ‘consumers’ these days Scott has a voice I WANT to listen to, not continue talking over or reading; he is wonderful, he is unique and I like that, his individuality is what sets him apart from the rest, he is head and shoulders above everyone else. Cut to the chase now guys and announce him the winner. An awesome talent, a joy to watch and listen to, and a huge inspiration.

Scott goes to our church here in scottsdale. He sings with the voice of an angel…so beautiful!!
He is such an inspiration…legally blind & almost died due to kidney disease. One of his piano teacher’s donated a kidney to Scott….the gift of life he calls it.
You haven’t heard even close to the best of Scott….he is a genius behind the piano & his voice takes each listener to another level!!

Honestly, Scott is adoreable. I would totally date him if I was 18 and knew him. Every night he brings me into tears when he performs. I was going to turn off American Idol if he did not get chosen into the final 12. His vocals alone is an inspiration but he also plays instruments? TRULY AWESOME! He is truly amazing and I want to listen to him sing. I really love this guy. If I ever saw him I’d run up to him and just pour out in tears and tell him how he is such an amazing person. He is himself and I could just eat him up. His voice is like an angel. Give me a call Scott

I LOVE LOVE him….he brings me to tears each time I see him…..I am inspired and overwhelmed with joy he made….goes to show the good in people! I do want to add to I don’t think he made it just cause of the blind thing either….that man can SING!!!!

Scott is AMAZING !!!! I never vote for any of them but for Scott I voted 105 times !!! I will continue to vote for hime !!! I cant to see what he does next !!!

ehh….he’s alright. Definitely not good enough to win american idol season 8. He’s not radio – material like kelly klarkson, Chris Daughtry, Jordin sparks. I’ll give him till the top 7 when he gets eliminated.

Are we talking about the same Scott M? I’m sorry- there’s only one reason he’s still on… I don’t need to say it. He’s an OK singer but he is in no way a top 3 pick. His past performances are completely forgettable and despite his “challenges”, his singing is utterly mediocre.
