Scott Clift: Clift’s calf with two heads
By Clarencia Cynrae on February 28th, 2009Scott Clift, a cattle farmer in south west Missouri, delivered a calf with 2 heads. Scott Clift’s cow gave birth to a two headed brown colored male calf.
The calf with two heads was born at Clift’s farm near Aldrich, Polk County. Clift described the calf as having two heads connected to one body behind the skull. The calf was born on Wed., Feb 25 and died on Thurs, 6 pm.
Scott Clift’s family took turns bottle feeding the calf. It was unable to walk. It finally died on Thursday, after struggling for 1 and a half days. The condition of a livestock being born with 2 heads is called polycephaly.
