April Becker’s parents separated after a fight. April Becker was a baby when her mother left her father and she never knew her father, Doctor Scott Becker. Scott Becker was looking for April Becker for many years.

Dr Becker searched for his daughter April, who is now known as April Becker Antoniou, but couldn’t locate her.

April Becker grew up and married. She never stopped searching for her dad. Whenever she had the time, she would use the online search for Scott Robert Becker but she found many entries and had to sieve through them.

One day, April Becker typed in a different search. She keyed in “Scott Robert Becker looking for April”. Ms Becker hit the right search as she saw a website with her name, April Joi (Joy) Becker, pop up. The message said her dad was looking for April Becker and wanted to meet her. Ms Becker emailed back and the two of them got in touch.

Dr Becker verified April’s birth date to ensure that he got the correct April Becker. He said he had several responses which were not correct before he found his one and true biological daughter.

Dr Becker flew from his home in Kansas to Newnan to meet his daughter and her children, Brooke, 4, and Aidan, 6. April Becker was 30 years old before she ever saw her father again.

Dr Becker has had another daughter and he was keen for his two daughters to finally meet up.

It is amazing how the power of the online search has brought two people together.It gives people the idea to do the same thing, ie, set up a website to search for a missing one.
