The Scientology Celebrity Center in L.A. had a fatal shooting. The security guard shot and killed a man who was wielding a sword and approaching him on Sun., Nov. 23. The security guard felt threatened and fired at the swordsman, killing him. Police are investigating to determine if the shooting was justified. Police want to determine the swordsman’s motive.

The Scientology Celebrity Center has a 7 storey tower that used to serve as a residential hotel for Hollywood celebrities before its conversion. The Scientology Celebrity Center is now a home, seminar venue, meeting place and performance revenue for Scientology events.
