Sarah Palin Tina Fey SNL Oct 18: Palin & Fey SNL
By Therese Lisieux on October 18th, 2008In the skit with Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler:
Amy Poehler sang the rap supposedly meant for Palin, who declined to rap because her dad (or gut) told her it was inappropriate or something like that. A pair of Eskimos came. A snowmobile racer came out and he looked like Todd Palin. SNL threw in traditional ornaments like a man dressed as a moose. The moose dropped dead when the gun shots started. There was fake snow raining down where Palin was seated. It was a traditional Alaskan rap and dance, like X’mas came early into the studio.
The skit with Alec Baldwin & Palin.
The skit with Mark Wahlberg had him looking for Andy Samberg to smash his nose in. Alec Baldwin comes and pretends to confuse Sarah Palin for Tina Fey. Baldwin said a whole bunch of things that embarasses himself when he was finally told the lady in front of him is the real Gov. Palin.
The skit with Tina Fey and Palin:
Tina Fey was giving her speech imitating Palin and giving her version of “Palindrome” when suddenly, a “stage hand” came up to whisper into her ear that the real Palin was coming to take the mike. Fey makes a faux face and exits, in a crossover just as Palin comes up, and takes the podium, to say “Live from New York, its Saturday Night.”
